As a Store Planner, you’ll create Store Planning documents to support Burlington’s New Stores, Remodels, Prototype, and Capex Projects, including conceptual plans, construction documents, interior planning documents, and programming. This position requires at least 4 years of retail Store Planning/Design experience and proven proficiency in Auto CAD, X-Ref, and MS Project/Office.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and produce Store Planning conceptual plans, construction documents, interior planning documents and programming for all type of stores and projects utilizing AutoCAD and X-Ref software
Review documents for compliance with Store Planning prototype documents
Assist in scope development. Analyze existing store conditions and fixtures
Make recommendations relative to scope of work for Remodels and non-prototypical projects
Understand and implement planning processes, standards and management tools for all store types. Includes model schedules, change management, prototype development, remodel surveys quality control, project prioritization, CAD standards, X-Ref and database, etc.
Assist in developing and implementing innovation initiatives including new merchandise strategies, reinventions, reviewing competitor shops and documenting best in class store design
Assist in developing and implementing planning processes, standards and management tools for all store types. Includes model schedules, change management, prototype development, remodel surveys quality control, project prioritization, CAD standards, X Ref and database, etc.
Develop and maintain fixed asset database that provides information on stores to corporate partners. Includes but not limited to fixture types, quantities, square footages, productivity reports and store specific information, etc.
