Design For The Senses - A Retail Innovation Event

Another exciting event hosted by the Southern California Chapter was held on August 13 at the beautiful Vogani showroom in the Helms Bakery District of Los Angeles.

Design for the Senses: A Retail Innovation Event showcased a variety of sensory elements to enhance retail environments. More than 136 guests attended the event sponsored by Vogani, exhalia USA, Turtle Beach, NicoNat Manufacturing Corp., and Patina-V. Attendees networked and enjoyed wine and cheese from around the world as they journeyed through the venue.

Tracy Pepe, CEO and Chief Scent Designer at Nose Knows Design presented “Smelling Color: All a space needs is a single whiff.” This engaging topic explained how scent design provides solutions intended to incorporate or enhance the scent within a space. The scent characteristics become the focus of determining, psychology, emotional impact, shopper’s insight, aesthetics, or brand recognition.

The evening continued with more networking and vendor showcases.
