The Retail Design Institute is pleased to announce the re-election of its International Officers for the term beginning November 1, 2024, through October 31, 2026.
Cynthia Hirsch Ortiz, RDI, has been re-elected to the position of International President. She is a Business Development Manager at MBH Architects and has been a Professional member of the Institute since 2018. A member of the New York Chapter, Cynthia will continue her service as International President.
"As International President, I am committed to continuing my collaboration with the incoming board and Ray Ehscheid, our Chairman, to build on the progress we've made in advancing the Institute across all chapters. During my tenure, we have experienced remarkable growth, and I aim to ensure we maximize our efforts to benefit our members, allies, and partners in retail design. We are currently developing new programs and offerings to further enhance the value of membership."
Kathryn Patton-Miller, RDI, has been re-elected as International Vice President. She is Senior Design Director at RetailOne and has been a Professional member of the Institute since 2019. A member of the Atlanta | Southeast Chapter, Kathryn will continue her role as International Vice President.
Kathryn Hof Abercromby, RDI, has been re-elected to the position of International Secretary. She holds the position of Merchandising Manager at Long & McQuade Musical Instruments Ltd., Toronto, and has been a Professional Member of the Institute since 2020. A member of the Canada Chapter, Kathryn will continue serving as International Secretary.
Dina Meindl, Allied RDI, has been re-elected to the position of International Treasurer. She is the Managing Director, Member Services at Shop! Association and has been an Allied member of the Institute since 2013. A member of the New York Chapter, Dina will continue her service as International Treasurer.
Ray Ehscheid, FRDI, will continue in his role as International Chairperson. He is SVP, National Practice Leader, Retail at NELSON Worldwide and is a member of the New York Chapter.
The re-election of the entire board speaks to their exceptional leadership and the Institute's continued confidence in their vision.
