The Retail Design Institute’s New York Chapter is pleased to announce the election of its new Chapter Officers, who will lead the Chapter beginning November 1, 2024, through October 31, 2026. This dynamic team of retail design professionals brings a wealth of experience and dedication to advancing the Chapter’s mission, fostering community, and enriching the professional growth of its members.
Annie Greenhouse, RDI, Purchasing Manager at SCMP, has been elected Chapter President. Since joining the Institute in 2023, Annie has been a vocal advocate of membership benefits and engagement within the New York Chapter. Annie expressed her excitement for the upcoming term, stating,
“As President, I aspire to collaborate with the incoming board and our Chairman, Tobias Harris, to maintain and grow our vibrant New York Chapter. My focus will be on organizing engaging events, strategic planning, and managing our calendar and budget. With 15 years of experience in the store design industry, I am confident in our ability to achieve impactful goals for our community.”
The New York Chapter is also pleased to announce the election of additional officers:
Vice President: Jowita Abbott, RDI, Design Director at NELSON Worldwide, who has been a member since 2021 and previously served as Events Co-Chair for the Chapter.
Secretary: Ramon Ocampo, RDI, Associate Principal at Arcadis, who was re-elected to his position and has been a Professional Member of the Institute since 2019.
Treasurer: Sonja Macciocchi, Trade RDI, Chief Brand Officer at Allied Retail, who joined the Institute in 2023 and previously served as Membership Co-Chair.
Additionally, Tobias Harris W., RDI will transition to the role of Chapter Chairperson following his impactful term as Chapter President. Tobias’s ongoing leadership will provide guidance and support as the new board builds upon the New York Chapter’s legacy.
