A brilliant full moon rising over The Seattle Chinese Garden was just part of Pacific Northwest Chapter's recent spectacular summer evening event. The topic was living landscapes and enhancing the quality of human experience. Members and guests were welcomed with cooling drinks and tasty food served within the traditional walled courtyard setting.
Siteworkshop provided the special presentation in the adjacent Chan Center. Both Mark Brands and Matthew Wood of SiteWorkshop shared personal insight into the challenges and thrill of how to successfully integrate living landscapes into building interiors, including the Amazon Spheres. Members and guests were further entertained following the program with drinks and sweets back in the garden - with Sandy Marvinney, the garden's Communications Chair, lighting the courtyard lanterns for a special added touch.
Thank you to our attending guests as well as our generous event hosts and sponsors: Siteworkshop, The Seattle Chinese Garden, and FastSigns of Issaquah & Bellevue.
