On June 7, 2017, the Pacific Northwest Chapter hosted a mindful morning event at Portland's beautiful Grayling Jewelry in the rapidly evolving Northeast Alberta Arts District. Owner and founder, Katy Kippen, shared her personal experience in building a successful jewelry brand and growing a retail store presence. The store design project, guided by the talented team at Vizwerks, was shared by designer and Vizwerks Principal Shauna Stinson. And our special guest Linda Cahan of Cahan & Company, a.k.a. the Retail Psychic, presented an intriguing and thoughtful topic focusing on design, intuition, instinct and insight. Attending members and guests were delighted with the presentations and enjoyed the discussion, intimate setting and opportunity for networking - and shopping! Delicious Barista coffee and bagel carbs helped keep everyone focused and happy during the sunny spring morning.
