A beautiful sunny July evening provided the perfect setting for Pacific Northwest Chapter's recent Summer Retail Walking Tour at University Village, one of Seattle's most dynamic shopping destinations. RDI members and guests started the interactive evening with sips & savories at our generous and gracious event sponsor - Room & Board. Principal architect representing University Village, George Wickwire, AIA, from Shugart Wasse Wickwire Architecture & Interiors, provided an insightful presentation on the evolving challenges shaping this unique retail destination - followed by private tours of emerging and established creative retailers, including hi-tech b8ta, the delicious Rachels Ginger Beer, and the opulent RH Seattle, The Gallery.
