Sage + Sound is New York’s newest wellness destination in the UES. Originally envisioned as a wellness marketplace, the founders wanted to create a single destination for the best wellness brands, services, and treatments under one roof. They also wanted the guests to experience a curated program of products and self-care practitioners in a revitalizing and rejuvenating environment.

Upon entering the retail space, guests are greeted by the custom curved feature wall, walnut displays, and a free-standing sink to use when testing products. On the north side, the Isle of Us café offers guests delicious and healthy food options, at the made-to-order counter or in the marketplace. On the south side, Sunday's nail salon pampers guests with spa-quality nail services based on non-toxic and healthy practices. Away from the street noise, guests can retreat toward the back of the space for a guided meditation class or sound bath in The Study, a dedicated classroom for mental fitness programming. Five private treatment rooms allow for an individualized spa experience.

The multi-offering space is designed so that guests can enjoy the feeling of relaxation induced by warm neutral tones, oak floors, Venetian plaster walls, and luxurious furnishings. Tunable lighting throughout allows complete customization of light levels and moods in each zone, creating a serene spa-like setting for visitors and contributing to a sustainable environment.

Sage + Sound has become popular within the local community for providing unique offerings like special practitioner speakers, workshops, and classes around mental health and wellness. The study hosts between five and seven classes a day. More recently, the space generated buzz as it was featured on The Zoe Report, Nylon Magazine, The New York Times, the Today Show, and many others.

We are proud to be a part of the team that helped the Sage + Sound founders realize their vision for a unique, welcoming space for a community of people who consciously seek to improve their lives.
