December 14, 2017.
Over 60 design professionals convened at the Comunity shoe store in the Art's District of DTLA for an informative discussion on the future trends shaping urban retail in downtown Los Angeles. Shannon and Sean Scott, Co-founders and Chief Catalysts of Community shoes explained their unique and refreshing retail concept and their design team spoke to the creative use of the space.
Co-founder of The Spirit Guild, Miller Duvall engaged guests with tastings of his handcrafted, traditional distilled Gin and Vodka. He spoke to the crowd about his experiences opening a tasting room and distillery in the Arts District.
Both presentations highlighted urban retail in the Arts District can be a catalyst for change - inspiring action, participation, and empowerment of others in the community.
The evening continued as guests networked with industry colleagues, enjoyed light hors-d'oeuvres, and sampled sponsored products to the background music curated by DJ OneSound View.
