What a great turnout for our exclusive tour of Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills! Such a great energy we were all vibing off of and the grand spectacle of the beautiful retail megaspace. So expressive and so elegant. Thank you so much for our sponsors, Arcadis and Trainor Construction, and the panelists, Ian Murray, Assistant General Manager, SFA Beverly Hills, and the Arcadia architecture team, Tyson Ebert, Anna Victoria and Andrew Brezina.

The tour was guided by Bill Shockey of Trainor, Tyson Ebert, Anna Victoria and Andrew Brezina of Arcadia, and Ian Murray, Ken Crow and Frenchye Harris of SFA. Thank you to all the educators and students who came from Cal Sate University Long Beach, Santa Monica College and Los Angeles Trade Technical College, it was great to have you there.

Did you know the Southwest + Pacific Chapter includes Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Hawaii? It's true! If you know any innovative store experiences, retail companies or consultants in any of these areas please let us know! We'd love to spotlight them in this series...  southwestpacific@retaildesigninstitute.org.

Abbot Kinney Block Walk, Venice Beach

Recap

Thank you to everyone for joining us at the Abbot Kinney Block Tour in September. And thank you to the wonderful retailers who hosted our store visits and shared the story behind their brands. What a great experience! We loved learning about these fantastic and walkable neighborhoods in the world of retail. And the food at SoCal Vibes was excellent!
