Strictly Cycling Collective, New York City | 50th International Design Competition Winner

When looking to expand, family-owned Strictly Cycling Collective chose to open close to New York’s Highline.

The Strictly Cycling | TPG Architecture team envisioned a high-tech environment to echo the local surroundings. Custom wood seating inspired by the Highline pays homage to the neighborhood, while staff-created graffiti art installations throughout add quintessential New York City grit to the space.

The shop offers immersive technology: 3-D motion capture technology provides riders with data about their physique, which helps to fully customize their cycling equipment.

Strictly Cycling brings together three top cycling brands. The team worked with each brand to create personalized zones while staying on track with the overall look and feel of the space.
