Dear Members and Friends of the Retail Design Institute,
I am writing to you today with a heavy heart regarding the devastating wildfires affecting Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. Our thoughts are especially with our fellow members and board of the Southwest + Pacific Chapter during this challenging time. We sincerely hope that you, your families, and your communities remain safe and protected from harm.
Please remember, your safety and the safety of your loved ones must come first. The impact of these wildfires extends beyond our retail design community, affecting countless families, businesses, and neighborhoods throughout the region.
The Retail Design Institute has always been more than just a professional organization – we are a community that supports one another in times of need. We encourage members who are able to consider making a donation to the American Red Cross, which is providing emergency shelter and immediate relief, or to another charity of your choosing that is supporting the Los Angeles community during this crisis.
Most importantly, please stay safe and take care of yourselves and each other. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
