From a brand perspective, the new T-Mobile store in Plano, Texas, marks the evolution from a transactional to an experiential format.

The Interior Architects team carried out T-Mobile’s desire for a more human and welcoming brand by offering choices of how to shop. The team created zones focused on the shopping occasions of discovery, service, community, instant gratification, and convenience.

The Living Room at the center of the store offers a more relaxed experience with clusters of lounger seating flanked by bookcases showcasing T-Mobile’s T-Vision and home tech offerings.

The Launch Pad is an area of discovery and play, where customers are introduced to the latest tech products.

The Service Workshop at the rear allows for more hands-on assistance. Here, wall cabinets display the full offering of phones, tablets, and devices for easy comparative shopping.

The Fast Lane zone is designed as a flexible, grab-and-go area with convenient access to all small wares. Fixtures are purposely designed with a plug-and-play modularity, allowing for ever-changing visual merchandising opportunities.
